Susan J. DeBell PhD, LPC, NCC

      Susan DeBell is a licensed professional counselor with undergraduate degrees in Art Education and Nursing.  She has a Masters in Counseling, a PhD in Psychology and has certificates in Substance Abuse Counseling, School Counseling, and Family Counseling.

     She has worked for many years in public education and is an experienced Christian Counselor as well. She brings to the children and adolescents she works with compassion, empathy, and an encouragement of faith that provides an atmosphere where individuals can thrive and heal. Within this framework, she has helped many groups of children and teens work through various emotional difficulties and life challenges as well as assisting them to become more proficient in social and relational skills.

     Susan’s interests have always centered around helping hurting children and their families.  Her artistic gifts and creative approaches to life have assisted her in helping children and their families to live successful and fulfilling lives.  It is her belief that a strong spiritual Christian component is essential in helping individuals to triumph in times of tragedy and adversity.
